RapidPreviewはシンプルなサウンドファイルプレビューアーです。沢山のサウンドファイルをファイルブラウザ部で階層移動しながら手軽に試聴したり、ファイルをウェーブビューアーで波形表示して気に入った部分を新たなファイルに切り出したりできます。

Digidesign ProToolsやBias Peakなどの波形編集ソフトと併用すると便利なソフトです。

RapidPreview is a simple sound file previewer. Which can easily preview numerous number of sound files in a file browser format.

Each file can also be displayed in a waveform from the "WaveViewer", where you can select and take out the desired part as a new separate file.

RapidPreview is very convenient when using it with the Digidesign ProTools , Bias Peak, other wave editors.

ファイルをダブルクリック、あるいはカーソルキー右「→」でファイルの試聴ができます。片手で階層移動と試聴が可能です。

Sound files can be previewed and played by either double clicking the selected file in the browser, or selecting the file using "up" and "down" key and the press "right"(→) to play.

AIFFやWAVファイルをWaveViewerで開くことで波形を表示することができます。 表示された波形をみながら任意の範囲を選択し、その部分を新たなファイルに切り出すことができます。切り出すファイルはファイルフォーマット、サンプリングレートなどを指定することができます。

Waveform can be displayed by opening AIFF and the WAV file with "WaveViewer", and arbitrary range can be selected while visualizing the waveform on a display. Selected part can be cut out to a new file and also can be saved in a specified file format and the sampling rate, etc.

Tigerから搭載された強力で高速なスポットライト検索機能を利用できます。ファイルネームはもちろん、ファイルコメントやApple Loopファイルのタグ情報、ID3タグ(mp3, AAC)などをも対象とした検索が可能です。

A very strong search can be executed in the Spotlight search. Because the file name and the file comment, Apple Loop file Tag information, ID3 Tag (mp3, AAC) information, etc. are contained in the search object. And, it is executed at the very high speed.

任意の波形編集ソフトを登録すれば、試聴中のファイルをそのアプリケーションで開くことができます。ProToolsを設定しておけば試聴中のファイルがオーディオリージョンリストに登録されます。Peakを設定しておけば、ファイルがPeakで開かれます。

If the arbitrary wave editor is registered in "RapidPreview". The file being previewed can be opened by the registered application.
For example, if "Digidesign ProTools" is set and registered in "RapidPreview", the file under the audition is registered in the audio region list. If "Bias Peak" is set, the file is opened with Peak.

任意のフォルダ−を指定しておけば、ショートカットでそのフォルダーにファイルのコピーを作ることができます。１つのフォルダーにネタ集めしたい時などに。

If an arbitrary folder is specified, it is possible to make a copy of the file under that folder.

QuickTimeのファイル変換機能を利用して、サウンドファイルやMOVファイルの変換ができます。

The sound file and the MOV file can be converted by using the file conversion function of QuickTime.
